Jeff Rhody (Owner) - A native of Tucson and graduate of the University of Arizona, Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Economics (2005) and holds a master's degree in Landscape Architecture (2008). Spending a mix of his career in the construction industry and in landscape architecture, he brings a diverse knowledge. Jeff has been professionally designing and installing water harvesting systems since 2009. Finding new and creative ways to balance amazing design and function is a passion of Jeff's.
Gabriele D’Ippolito – A Tucson native, Gabriele has been with Dryland Design since 2019. Gabriele leads our maintenance crew, operates equipment, and has experience with rock work, tree work, irrigation repair/installation, basic traffic control, plant identification, work site safety, and all aspects of active and passive water harvesting projects.
Clay Morgan – A Tucson native, Clay has been with Dryland Design since 2016. He has worked at various local landscape and water harvesting companies. Clay has done work for Watershed Management Group, Sleeping Frog Farm, and Native Roots LLC, to name a few. Clay is a master with rock work, leads installation crews, does irrigation installation/repair, is great with plants and has been part of numerous active and passive water harvesting and maintenance and restoration projects.
Valerie Osborne – A multi-generational Tucsonan, Valerie has studied and practiced sustainable agriculture, permaculture, and regenerative human life ways. Valerie worked for over 12 years in an architecture office on a team translating ideas into plans, and plans into reality. She understands the complexity of bridging the design with the trades and partners who bring that design to life. She is detail oriented, enjoys listening and absorbing diverse perspectives, and finding a common way forward.
